Picket Assignment

Picket Duty, if a strike is called, will begin on Sunday August 3rd. Every member is expected to picket for the first 7 Days (Sunday Through Saturday) at your work location for your regular work shift.

After which, you will be expected to fulfill at least two (2) four (4) hour shifts per week. Assignments will be granted based on seniority.

If you have not filled out a picket assignment sheet please CLICK HERE to download one. Print it out and return to your steward or fax to the Union Office 617-929-6099.

Our Visit to Sandra Moose

On Sunday April 29, 2007 a contingent from IBEW Local 2222 paid a visit to the home of longtime Verizon Board of Directors member Sandra Moose. We sent a clear message to Sandra that she can bring to the VZ Shareholder's Meeting this week. Many of Sandra's neighbors greeted us again this year, as they are happy to see us standing up for issues that are important to most, namely job security, access to good health care, and an end to outrageous CEO salaries.
