Early Bargaining with Verizon
As you know, our current collective bargaining agreement with Verizon does not expire until August 2019, a little less than 15 months from now.
However, IBEW, CWA, and Verizon will be entering into two weeks of bargaining, June 18, 2018 through June 30, 2018 to try to reach an early agreement on a new contract.
Once bargaining begins on Monday, June 18th there will be a blackout of information. We will keep you posted on any further developments.
Please Note – Due to the July 4th Holiday, the regular monthly meeting, normally held the 1st Wednesday of the month, will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 6 PM – Boston Teacher’s Union Hall, Bayside Mall, Dorchester
