Ratification voting to begin

IBEW, CWA, and Verizon have reached a tentative agreement on a four-year extension of the current contract, which was set to expire in August 2019. The agreement will extend the contract through August 5, 2023.

By mutual agreement, negotiations on the contract extension were limited to wages,  benefits, and the length of the new agreement. All other articles in the contract will remain the same.  Please CLICK HERE for a summary of the tentative agreement.

Ratification voting will begin immediately at the Union Office.  In addition, voting will be held at the August Union Meeting, Wednesday, August 1, 2018, 6 PM at the Boston Teacher’s Union Hall, Bayside Mall, Dorchester.  We will also hold voting at various work locations.  Ratification voting will continue for a few weeks.
