Ratification voting to finish Wednesday, August 15th

IBEW, CWA, and Verizon have reached a tentative agreement on a four-year extension of the current contract, which was set to expire in August 2019. The agreement will extend the contract through August 5, 2023.

By mutual agreement, negotiations on the contract extension were limited to wages,  benefits, and the length of the new agreement. All other articles in the contract will remain the same.  Please CLICK HERE for a summary of the tentative agreement.

CWA members ratified the extension last week.  IBEW ratification voting continues and is being held at the Union Office, 1137 Washington Street, Dorchester.  Voting will end this Wednesday, August 15th.  Please make every effort to vote. Results will be announced by the end of the week.
