IBEW supports Housing Families to help the neediest families in our area.  As you know, we do collections during the Holiday Season to ensure these kids don’t have to go without.  Throughout the year we also provide pizza parties, trips to an amusement park, movie tickets, and bowling outings, just to name a few.

Housing Families serves very low-income Greater Boston families who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or newly-housed in affordable housing.  Children make up the majority of the individuals Housing Families serves.  87% of the households served are single parent and female-headed, and family sizes average between 2 and 3 members.

IBEW Local 2222 has committed to raising $10K to assist the neediest of our neighbors.   Over the coming months, we will be running raffles, collections and activities to hit our goal of $10K.
