New England Parkinson’s Ride

Jonathon Horgan, the son of 2222 member and longtime steward John Horgan, will be riding in the New England Parkinson’s Ride on September 11, 2021, in memory of former 2222 President and Business Agent Ed Fitzpatrick.

The New England Parkinson’s Ride took shape in the summer of 2008, and linked up with Team Fox at The Michael J Fox Foundation.  Although there were only 35 riders that the first year, they managed to raise over $27,000 for The Foundation. The Ride has grown at an incredible rate over the past thirteen years and in 2019 drew over 1300 cyclists, from 27 states and 3 provinces of Canada. 2020 brought a host of new challenges because of the Covid-19 pandemic, but still brought out over 1000 cyclists from 50 states and 7 countries, who rode together…yet apart, in a virtual ride.

This year, Jonathon Horgan can use your support in helping to raise funds to help fight Parkinson’s Disease.  Please CLICK HERE, search for participant Jonathon Horgan, and donate whatever you can.  Thank You!!!
