The 2022 Jack O’Shea Golf Tournament was held on Friday, September 30th at the William Devine Golf Course at Franklin Park. Thank you to our sponsors, to all who donated raffle items, to the golfers, and to our volunteers – Donna Bohan, Beth Kelleher, Janelle Quinn, and Pam McCosh, for making this year’s tournament another great success. 100% of the proceeds raised go to the 2222 Benevolent Fund, which is used to support charities that our members are involved with.

James Sullivan, son of IBEW 2222 member Dennis Sullivan, was diagnosed with Stage IV Rhabdomyosarcoma in October 2021 at age 19.You are eligible to receive a one-time reimbursement of up to $300 for the purchase of an office desk and/or chair. Verizon sent an email today with the reimbursement process details. Reimbursement is eligible for purchases made on or after July 29, 2022. A receipt is required.
Also, starting September 30th, you will receive a $50 monthly stipend for costs related to work-at-home on the fourth paycheck of every month for the prior month’s stipend. Associates who worked or who are considered to have worked (eg. vacation) in the prior month will receive the payment.

The 2022 Jack O’Shea Golf Tournament is fast approaching. This annual event is the largest fundraiser we have to benefit the IBEW Local 2222 Benevolent Fund. This year’s tournament will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022, at Franklin Park – William Devine Golf Course in Dorchester (Sign-In 7:00 am – 7:30 am).
The tournament is limited to 120 golfers and is now full.
If you are a Verizon employee, you must request the day off no later than Friday, September 9, 2022.
The cost of a foursome is $500, and individual golfers are $125. The tournament includes continental breakfast, a round of golf with a cart, a gift, and a delicious buffet lunch.
Due to course rules, we are unable to have a registration table on the day of the tournament. Therefore,
ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE IN ADVANCE.
